Calibrated Scales

AnchorCert Gem Lab has 3 sets of highly sensitive scales one of which weighs up to 4 decimal places.

AnchorCert Gem lab uses the policy of rounding off the stone to the next highest value if it has 9 in the third decimal place. This follows the GIA and the World Federation of Diamond Bourses protocol

 For example:  The World Federation of Diamond Bourses and the GIA only round up to the next hundredth if there is a 9 in the thousandths place.

So a stone that weighs 1.768 cts. would be rounded off to 1.76 cts., but one that weighs 1.769 cts.  can be rounded up to 1.77 cts.
